“Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was so delicious! Portions were so large that we came home with food for lunch tomorrow.

We ordered the trout, that was amazing! Salmon was delicious also!! Waiter suggestions were perfect!! We are definitely coming back!!”

“I’ve been going to Restaurant506 at Sanford House for nearly two years, at least a couple times a month. Never been disappointed. Upscale but relaxed ambiance, great staff, friendly smiles, and – above all – GREAT FOOD! I’ve been there for Brunch and Dinner; they provide distinct but equally pleasant experiences. Brunch value is amazing – you can’t get food and service of this quality at this price anywhere else.”

“My sister and I had brunch here this morning. It was delicious. The meal started with a plate (or two) of mini muffins and whipped butter. Then, I had the almond crusted trout with beurre blanc, snap peas, and grape tomatoes. The fish was crispy on top and the portions were generous. My sister had the chicken and waffle with cherry bacon maple syrup. The chicken and waffle were a perfect mix of savory/sweet. We both had the bottomless mimosas which my favorite flavors were the passionfruit/strawberry and the grapefruit. Service was excellent: our waiter, Chad, was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was delightful: situated in the downstairs level of a bed and breakfast.”

Aiden

“This is a lovely place for brunch. The wait staff is extraordinary. Very attentive and personable. Our waiter ,James, was knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, but yet very professional. He made excellent suggestions and facilitated an exceptional meal. Make sure to try the bacon maple syrup and braised pork Benedict. I will be dreaming of both for a while. They even included a strawberry pudding for my birthday! Thank you 506 for a great morning.”

“My wife and I have been meaning to check out this restaurant for a while now. It is part of The Sanford House Inn and Spa (www.thesanfordhouse.com) which we also have yet to experience. After the meal we took some time to hang out in the courtyard under a nice gazebo.

The food & service were both great. The chef really does a great job on his dishes. The menu changes every so often as you would expect with any good restaurant with a good chef. My wife ordered an amazing chicken and waffles with cherries and bacon while I opted for the crusted trout with shiitake mushrooms and vegetables. Price point with tip (no drinks) $38. My biggest takeaway here is that this is a great place for a really classy meal right in downtown Arlington. Very convenient.”

Jon Paul

“Restaurant 506 located at the Sanford House in Arlington, Texas is the best fine dining experience in Arlington – without a doubt! If you want an intimate setting with great service and even better food, look no further. I have been for brunch, lunch, and dinner (dinner is my favorite). Their menu changes occasionally which keeps things fresh, but there is always something for someone. I wish I had taken pictures because the dishes are beautiful and tasty!

Why drive to Fort Worth or Dallas when you can experience such a fine dining experience in Arlington?”

Kelly

“This place is such a hidden gem! The rooms are very quaint and charming. It reminded me of being in a fancy English house and we were there for high tea. We sat near the window and was greeted by our waiter. We ordered a few cocktails and ordered our food. Here is what we ordered (and we will probably be coming back soon for more!)

I ordered the crusted trout. THIS IS A MUST-HAVE. I was blown away by the flavors and only wish that I could have some right now! My husband had the crab cake benedict. Of course, you cannot go wrong with crab cakes. It tasted amazing.”

“Have driven by The Sanford House in Arlington many times and then read about their Wine Pairing Dinner so I made reservations for our anniversary. It is was great! We were greeted at the door, flowers that I had ordered were on our table. Wines and food were excellent! What a surprise to have this place in Arlington!”
